I am so behind on my blog posts!! I did this senior session for this beautiful young woman a few weeks ago in Harper’s Ferry. Harper’s Ferry is my absolute favorite place to shoot. It is so beautiful and has an endless amount of areas for shooting!! The weather was perfect the day we took these pictures. And look at Emma’s wardrobe choices!! I think I need her to help me with my closet, haha!
I did some senior portraits for Alex last August-they were actually the first pictures I ever did for anyone!! But he wanted to add some pictures with his graduation gown & his future college gear, so last week we had another fun session. It was a lot of fun getting to see him play some ball & hear how excited he is for college. I’m so excited for Alex and what the future holds for him!
Recently I had the pleasure of doing Senior portraits for Samuel. He is such a sweet and genuine young man! I had a great evening hanging out with him and his mother. Being a senior in high school is such a special time! It seems so long ago I was in the same place in life and being nervous thinking about what college I was going to attend and what the future held for me. Anyway, The weather has been unusually cool for this time of year, but it made it the perfect evening for walking around and taking pictures. Fall is my favorite season and I’m really looking forward to seeing all the leaves changing.
This past weekend I had the pleasure of doing senior pictures for Montana. She is a such a special young woman and I was so happy to be able to do these for her. One of the best things about where I live is how beautiful it and how many historic places we have nearby. I love all the beautiful backgrounds in these photos, but of course none of them compare to Montana! She’s beautiful inside and out.
I had a really great time shooting these pictures of Bryen. The evening was a little humid but the lighting was perfect, and the location we chose made for some beautiful backgrounds. His mom is a friend of mine and came along, which made for a lot of laughs. Bryen is an artist himself and I hope I captured some of his artistic spirit with these pictures!
I was very nervous to jump back into photography after so many years. I bought a new camera and spent many hours getting to know how it works and reading a lot of photography blogs online. I took a lot of pictures of my kids (and my husband when he wasn’t paying attention), but it’s hard to get a lot of practice in when your two main models can’t sit still! So I convinced Alex to model for me for his senior pictures. It was the perfect evening for pictures and in such a beautiful place. Alex is such a special young man and I was happy to be able to do this for him. I hope his family is as happy with them as I am!
