In my previous post I shared some of the pictures we did before the party started, and here are some pictures from the reception! The room was set up beautifully and loved all of the details they included. It was the perfect evening!
My brother is married!!! They had their actual wedding ceremony in ROME, which is pretty amazing. But when they returned they had a wedding reception so they could celebrate with all their families and friends. The location was beautiful and it was such a nice, sunny, day. I was so happy to do the pictures for them, aren’t they a beautiful couple?! These are some of my favorites from the couple & family photos we took before the reception began.
July is a big month for our family! Our oldest daughter’s birthday is in July, and my youngest daughter has her half birthday this month, too. So now I have a three year old and an eighteen month old!! A couple weeks ago we took the girls down to Harper’s Ferry to go on a fun family walk, and I had to take the opportunity to shoot some pictures! Maybe I’m biased, but I think these are just the cutest girls!!
This week I did a sibling session for two brothers and it was such a great time. I am dying over the cuteness of these brothers!! Christian is the best big brother and you could really see and feel how much he loves his little brother. We have been in the middle of a heatwave lately but luckily it wasn’t too bad the evening we did this shoot. Plus, we chose a beautiful location for the pictures!
My sister is having a baby!!! As I mentioned in my previous post, her and her husband are expecting a baby boy later this summer. This will be the first grandson on our side of the family, so we are all very excited. This past weekend was her baby shower, and while I was done in the area I did the farm pictures for the nursery, and also some maternity pictures! I really enjoy doing maternity sessions because of that expecting mama glow! It was supposed to be a cloudy day-but ended up being SO sunny. I am so happy with how these turned out!
My sister and her husband are expecting a baby boy later this summer and I am so excited for them! I can’t wait to meet this little baby-who is already completely spoiled. My brother-in-law’s family farms, and so they’ve decided to do a farm theme for the nursery. One element they wanted to include in the nursery was actual pictures of the farm! I took some pictures for them over the weekend and I can’t wait to see them hanging up in his room.
I met Colleen online through her Lipsense group on Facebook (I love Lipsense!!). I was so happy to have the opportunity to do some portraits for her to use for her business. The location is one of my new favorites, and we saw lots of beautiful wildlife there that morning (a family of geese and a little quail egg). Plus, isn’t Colleen gorgeous?! This was such a fun shoot!
Let me start off by saying I love this family so much! They are dear friends of mine and their children are just so adorable and precious. They picked the absolute BEST location for their pictures. It was close by, and although I had driven by it several times before-I had never realized how beautiful it was until we stopped for pictures. It was a cloudy evening and even a little bit of rain, but the major rain held off and everything turned out great! Aren’t they the absolute sweetest?!
Last week I decided to be brave and take my two girls to a tulip farm-by myself. I had been reading about this tulip festival online for a while and I was dying to check it out. Acres of flowers, a shaded picnic area, and an area for kids with a bounce house and other fun things. It was a long drive but we headed out early that morning for our adventure! My oldest loved it and really enjoyed seeing all of the flowers. She picked out the tulips she wanted and helped to put them in our basket. My youngest…well you can tell from the pictures how she felt about the farm. We didn’t stay very long-but long enough to get some cute pictures and to pick some beautiful tulips for our home!
